At L-TOWN, we know that great coffee starts right at the farm. That’s why we take special care to source our beans from only the most advanced coffee farms that can guarantee consistently good quality. We call the raw coffee beans that we import “Green coffee.” The coffee may be “green,” but we treat it like gold by storing it in our temperature-controlled warehouse in London, Ohio, which keeps it fresh until orders come in.
Once we get an order for a specific variety, we cook the beans with our gas-fired roasters. A medium roast yields a more traditional taste—but since it’s freshly roasted when you receive it, the flavor is deeper and more complex. A dark roast (also known as a French roast) takes longer, resulting in a cup of joe with subtle smokiness and hints of chocolate and berries.
After roasting the beans, we carefully inspect every batch to make sure you get L-TOWN quality beans each time you order. We’re so confident in our process that if you experience anything less than 100% caffeinated bliss, we’ll send you a replacement batch at no additional cost.
